March is ‘Careers with a Difference’ month at the Careers Service and we have arranged a number of events designed to help you think outside of the box when it comes to your career.
So, what do we have on offer?
Enterprise– ‘Are you crazy enough to run your own business?’- why don’t you come along and find out? Plus, we can help you get started with writing a business plan and everything else you need to go it alone.
Environmental Sector– Keen on all things green? Working in the environmental sector might be for you! Find out- from those who have made it- what it takes to make it.
International Development– What to change the world? Come along to our entire afternoon dedicated to International Development and find out how!
Media– Our two-day ‘Insight into Broadcasting and Journalism’ interactive workshop returns at the end of March. Hear from industry experts what a career in the media is really like and try it out for yourself in our very own newsroom.
MGIP– The Manchester Graduate Internship Programme has been successfully placing recent graduates in a variety of paid internships within the Manchester area for the past five years. Come and find out what it’s all about, and how to write a killer application.
Uncertain after graduation? Tales of the Unexpected- Don’t worry, you are not alone- come and find out how those who have gone before you overcame this and where they ended up. It’s more common than you think!
