A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated, self-starting student or recent graduate to undertake four weeks work experience between mid-June and the end of November (depending on availability) with the production team of Mastermind. This is the perfect chance for a hard working individual to gain invaluable studio-based TV production experience and an insight into the workings of one of the BBC’s flagship and most successful brands.
You need to understand the nature of the programme and adhere to the confidentiality that surrounds it.
The work experience may include supporting the production team in the office, on studio days and on location; maintaining the contributor database and the Mastermind email account; establishing and maintaining tape logging and interview cataloguing systems; actively contributing to the generation of ideas across the Entertainment Department; and ad hoc research into specialist subjects for briefing documents
This unpaid opportunity is full-time and based at Media City UK, Salford.
